Through a selection of images and critical essays, it explores aesthetic connections, cultural references, and the interactions between documentary, artistic creation, and visual memory. The volume accompanies a reflection on the many forms of influence that permeate contemporary photography. Note: Produced following a residency by four photographers in Varengeville-sur-Mer between 2015 and 2016, this book portrays the village and its inhabitants.
