CONTEMPORARY SCHOOL The Young Musician Red chalk on paper Signed lower right 65 x 50 cm Note: This work depicts a young musician, a classic subject in art history, rendered with sensitivity thanks to the expressive qualities of red chalk. This medium, prized for the warmth of its tones and the fluidity of its lines, allows for a subtle rendering of the figure’s volume, form, and expression.
