Signed and dated by the photographer, it reflects the artist’s close connection to the places and landscapes of southern France, a constant source of inspiration throughout his career. An internationally renowned photographer, Clergue developed a deeply poetic body of work that brings together Mediterranean light, nudes, natural landscapes, the Camargue, and bullfighting traditions. Supported from the very beginning by Pablo Picasso and Jean Cocteau, he made a decisive contribution to the recognition of photography as a major artistic discipline. This autographed poster serves as a personal testament to his exhibition activity in the early 1980s and his influence on the public and cultural institutions.
