In 1987, at the invitation of French graffiti artist Bando, he moved to Paris, where he painted his tags on the walls of the La Chapelle wasteland. In the early 1990s, he joined the Hôpital Éphémère, an artists’ collective based in the former Bretonneau Hospital, alongside A-One, Sharp, Victor Ash, and Skki. It was there that he made the transition from the wall to the canvas and developed the distinctive style of intertwined lines and vibrant colors that defines his work. Describing himself as an “abstract expressionist graffiti painter,” he draws inspiration from the legacy of Jackson Pollock, Joan Mitchell, and Georges Mathieu. Made a Knight of the Legion of Honor in 2015, he created *Liberty, Equality, Fraternity* for the National Assembly that same year. The inscription on the back of this sheet refers to the Hôpital Éphémère.
