Attributed to Gabriel VIARDOT (1830–1906) Two-part wooden writing desk. The lower section serves as a writing desk and opens with a single flap and three drawers; the drawer pulls are shaped like turtles and butterflies. The upper section serves as a shelf and is openwork with stylized dragon motifs. The drawers are inlaid with bone depicting immortals among flowers. (Some inlay is missing).
