He uses unconventional materials such as straw, wood, and coconut fiber to create works that evoke the fluidity and harmony of the “jatra” (spiritual journey) that is his artistic imagination. Iyer has exhibited in several galleries; his exhibitions include “Spiritual Sojourn” at the Art Bull Art Gallery (New Delhi, 2014) and at the Shridharani Art Gallery (New Delhi, 2005). His works are included in prestigious collections, including the National Gallery of Modern Art, the Bharat Bhavan Museum (Bhopal), the Chandigarh Museum, the Birla Academy of Art (Kolkata), and the Vidhan Sabha Bhavan (Bhopal).
