Watercolor over pencil on vellum. 1837 and 1838, respectively. Approx. 10 x 17 cm and 10 x 16.5 cm. Dated and inscribed with the location at the bottom margin: “Ruhpolding, June 4, 1837” and “at Schwabe(?)Moos, August 26, 1838, toward the Rachelspitz”; location details repeated in the upper right corner. Exhibition: Johann Georg von Dillis, State Graphic Collection, Munich, 1959, p. 34, cat. no. 209 (from a 165-page scrapbook compiled by the Dillis family in the 19th century containing works by Georg and Cantius Dillis).
