MONTIGNY ARQ DU ROI DES PAYS-BAS À BRUSELLES,” engraved breech; length 66.5 cm, 15.5 mm rifled caliber; thick, finely engraved breech stock; front triggers fully engraved with hunting scenes; cut-out and fully engraved iron fittings, trigger guard ending in a scroll; checkered veined walnut stock; on the grip and fore-end, an oval silver thumb rest at the rear of the trigger guard engraved with a dragon; heavy blued iron ramrod, with a brass-plated tip; total length 108 cm. Exhibitions in Paris, 1855 (2nd-class medal), 1867 (M B), and in London, 1851 (Price Medal).
