280 - Herend "Rothschild Bird" Porcelain Tureen 20th century Artist/Designer/Manufacturer: Herend Porcelain Manufactory (Hungary) Materials: Hand-painted porcelain with 24k gold accents Marking(s): Herend blue crest mark and pattern/shape numbers stamped or painted on the underside Cataloguer's Note: This magnificent, hand-painted porcelain tureen is executed in Herend’s iconic "Rothschild Bird" (RO) pattern, a classic design originally created in 1850 for the European banking dynasty.
