Asta conclusa

EUGENE PRINTZ (1879–1948) (ATTRIBUTED TO) A paneled cabinet with a projecting corner extension and a recessed section, made of rosewood veneer; the right end is fully curved, while the left end is half-curved. The front features three solid doors; the left one reveals an interior entirely finished in rosewood veneer and equipped with two shelves (the two doors on the right could not be opened). The upper and lower sections are each outlined by a flat rosewood band. 1930s. Bears an apocryphal monogram on the former location of the probable original stamp, on a circularly cut piece of end grain. Height: 90 cm Length: 100 cm Depth: 39.5 cm Shows signs of wear; the flat bands are detached; significant damage due to moisture, including swelling of the backing plate on the lower left side; the original patina of the brass strip is missing; screws may have been added to this brass facing. Expert: Emmanuel EYRAUD.
