IMPORTANT AND ORIGINAL KONYA RUG (Anatolia, Turkey, ca. 1965) Featuring a design of six rows of three medallions inlaid with endless knots and polychrome geometric floral bulbs surrounded by stylized hunters’ arrows. Triple border, the main ivory-colored one featuring a scattered pattern of geometrically stylized tarantulas in emerald green and ruby red. Wool pile on a cotton backing. Beautiful design (without a central medallion). Beautiful polychromy. Good overall condition. Dimensions: 316 x 210 cm
