COURT SWORD. Made of silver, adorned with diamond-cut pearls, single-bar guard, without a donkey’s head or shell. Triangular blade signed on the heel by Dida, a swordsmith on Rue Sainte-Catherine in Bordeaux, with traces of engraving and gold, marked “VAINCRE OU MOURIR” (Conquer or Die). Length: 100 cm. A.B.E.
