A young beauty shown bust-length, her head gently inclined, the face rendered in softly applied white with the lips picked out in red, the elaborate coiffure dressed with combs and hairpins and a red and white tie-dyed kanoko band, wearing a grey-green kimono decorated with blossom over an under-robe with a coral collar patterned in white wave scrolls. Signed Nakamura Daizaburō, with a red seal. With the original wood tomobako signed by the artist.
