Ridgeway Mahogany Grandfather Clock Ridgeway grandfather clock featuring a dark reddish-brown finished wooden case with a broken-arch pediment and a central brass-toned finial. The hood is flanked by two fluted columns enclosing a glass-fronted door. The silver-toned chapter ring displays applied brass-toned Arabic numerals, ornate black openwork hands, and a decorative etched floral center. A functioning lunar phase dial is situated in the arch, decorated with a blue starfield and two globes. The mechanical weight-driven movement is powered by three brass-cased weights suspended by chains, accompanied by a brass pendulum bob on a wooden rod. The waist features a full-length glass door, and the base is a simple box plinth supported by bracket feet. A T-shaped metal winding key is included. Marked on the dial Ridgeway. A metal service label is present on the interior of the case door. 86" H x 19" W x 10" D. CONDITION: The case displays minor scuffs and surface wear consistent with age, particularly along the edges of the base plinth and bracket feet. A few small nicks are visible on the pediment near the finial. The back panel shows scattered dark spotting and surface dust. The internal metal service tag has some light scratches. The mechanical components and weights show minor oxidation and surface dulling. Working status is unknown; the clock is sold as is.
