Pink Floyd Original Lineup Signatures with Syd Barrett - Obtained at the Floral Hall in Gorleston-on-Sea (July 19, 1967) Vintage ballpoint signatures of the original Pink Floyd lineup of Syd Barrett ("Syd"), Richard Wright ("Rich"), Nick Mason ("Nick"), and Roger Waters ("Rog") on a light pink 5 x 4 album page, with a collector's notation to the upper section indicating that the signatures were obtained at the Floral Hall in Gorleston-on-Sea, Norfolk, England, on July 19, 1967. In fine condition, with toning to the right edge. Accompanied by full letters of authenticity from Floyd Authentic and Grad Authentication, and a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. Pink Floyd’s July 19, 1967, appearance at the Floral Hall in Gorleston-on-Sea came during a pivotal period for the band, just weeks after the release of ‘See Emily Play’ and shortly before their debut album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, appeared in August. The concert featured the classic original lineup of Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason, with the Alex Wilson Set in support. A contemporary account published in the Eastern Evening News reported an audience of roughly 800 and noted the presence of a full BBC2 camera crew, although later sources conflict over the intended program and whether footage of Pink Floyd was ever broadcast. Obtained at the venue that evening, these signatures date to the height of Pink Floyd’s Syd Barrett era, several months before David Gilmour was recruited in December 1967; Gilmour made his live debut with Pink Floyd in January 1968, and Barrett’s departure was formally announced that April.
