An Islamic Manuscript, 17th Century Written in black ink on paper and dated to the Hijri year 1081 (1670 CE). Apparently a theological work with commentary. Binding missing; consistent with age. 20 x 14.5 cm Provenance: The Collection of Joseph Wallersteiner (1911-2001). By descent to the present owner. Notes: Given their common provenance, the manuscripts likely once belonged to the library of Sheikh Ali Abu al-Mawahib, former Mufti of Jaffa.
