An Archaic Carved Jade Bi-Form Pendant, China, Warring States Period Of asymmetrical openwork form, centred by a small bi disc decorated with raised grain-pattern bosses and surrounded by stylised scrolling dragon motifs. The pale yellowish jade with natural veining, staining and surface alteration. Length: 7 cm Provenance: Acquired in China in 1905, during the Russo-Japanese Warby descent to the present owner.
