Versailles flintlock carbine, infantry model, 1793. Rifled, square-bore barrel with hallmark marks. Sight grooves at the muzzle and breech. Hallmarked lock plate, engraved “Manufre de Versailles,” and swan-neck trigger with a round body. Cut brass fittings. Walnut stock with cheek pieces. Iron keel-shaped ramrod. Barrel length: 64 cm - Overall length: 103 cm E.M. (Repair at the breech, trigger guard rebuilt).
