On the underside, the green base mark “Hutschenreuther Selb [striding lion with LHS] Germany Art Department” (1955–68), as well as a paper label reading “Hutschenreuther Art Department Selb” with the pencil-written number “2369/10.” Height: 21 cm. Width: 11 cm. Depth: 13 cm. In 1922, Carl Werner became technical director of the art department, where he was responsible for artistic supervision together with Karl Tutter. [ms]
