For the artist, the brain is not merely the organ responsible for thought, but a veritable inner universe, in constant motion and capable of generating new forms and possibilities. In the work presented here, this reflection takes the form of a tree sprouting directly from the brain. Nature thus becomes an extension of thought, while plant growth serves as a metaphor for the mind’s creative capacity. The dialogue between the anatomical element and the organic form encapsulates one of the fundamental themes of Fabre’s artistic vision: metamorphosis as a permanent condition of existence, suspended between body, nature, and imagination.
