365 - 1905-model Canadian cap from the 1st Depot Battalion of the Nova Scotia Regiment. Khaki cloth cap with a short brim lined with green leather. Thin fawn leather drawstring chin strap, fastened with two small Canadian-style buttons; the leather is cracked around the buttons. On either side, two ventilation holes with brown-lacquered eyelets. Black fabric lining. White markings indicating the manufacturer and size, as well as the Canadian Broad Arrow mark within a “C.” On the front, a cap badge of the 1st Depot Battalion, Nova Scotia Regiment, CEF. A few moth holes, particularly on the back; wear and snags, especially on the visor; a few stains on the crown; patina. Canadian M1905 peaked cap of the 1st Depot Battalion, Nova Scotia Regiment.
