Henri Hecht Maïk (French, 1922-1993) Le Lion à la Fleur oil on canvas 51 x 34 in. (129.5 x 86.4 cm) This lot is located in Philadelphia. Framed: 60 x 43 x 3 in. The painting is in overall fair condition. The canvas has scattered soiling throughout, and has been wax lined. There is inpainting and restoration visible throughout, in raking light and under UV light. There are a few areas of surface loss, for instance a white area at top left and in the flowers at top left. There are spots of staining all down the left edge of the painting and along the bottom.
