Petras Silvestrovich LEONAS (1864–1938) Letter in Russian addressed to Maria Ivanovna Baltruchaïtis, née Olovyanichnikova (c. 1879–1948), dated November 4, 1915, bearing the letterhead of the Committee for Aid to War Victims of the Lithuanian Auxiliary Society in Moscow and thanking her for her generosity: "Your Grace, Maria Ivanovna! I consider it my pleasant duty to inform you that by resolution of the Committee for Aid to War Victims under the Lithuanian Auxiliary Society in Moscow, you have been co-opted as a member of this Committee and elected as Trustee of the dormitory on Petrovka at No. 35 for the accommodation of young people. Please accept the assurance of my deepest respect and devotion to you. P. Leonas."
