50 - 19th-century Spanish school.

19th-century Spanish school. "Young Man with a Mandolin." Oil on canvas. Measurements: 45 x 30 cm; 66 x 51 cm (frame). The scene depicts a young woman in traditional dress with a red headscarf, seated at a wooden table while playing a stringed instrument (historically described as a zither or mandolin). In the background, a large window casts a distinct geometric shadow on the illuminated wall, which enhances the composition’s costumbrista and Orientalist focus.
