Botanical decoration: “Flora Danica.” “Draba hirta Oed.,” “Saxifraga autumnalis L.,” “Potentilla collina Wib.” “Vaccinium Vitis idaea,” “Epilobium alpinum L.” (with a chip on the rim, slightly chipped), “Cerastium glutinosum Fr.,” “Viola umbrosa Fr.,” and “Dryas integrifolia Vahl.” Embossed and serrated edge. Botanical names in black on the reverse. Designed by Johann Christoph Bayer (1738 - 1812) and his son Johann Theodor (1782 - 1873) for Catherine II. Slight age-related signs of wear.
