Facsimile of the medieval work Liber Genealogie Regum Hispaniae, written by Alfonso de Cartagena, one of the great Castilian humanists of the 15th century, bishop of Burgos and key figure in the diplomacy and political thought of the reign of John II of Castile. This edition was published by Scriptorium, S.L. in 2014, in a careful reproduction of the original manuscript. The work constitutes an illustrated genealogy of the kings of Spain from mythical times to the time of its author, linking lineages, historical facts and symbols of power in a structure that combines narrative, heraldic and visual elements.
