JAPAN 20TH CENTURY Glazed porcelain teapot with a turquoise-green base dotted with white polka dots, featuring a polychrome design of birds among peonies and foliage within a lobed cartouche accented with gilding. High, removable handle made of woven rattan or bamboo. Marked “MADE IN JAPAN” under the lid. H.: 13 cm. Some signs of use on the interior and wear on the handle; in good overall condition.
