Koenraad Dewulf Malevich Glass Coffee Table Coffee table Tempered glass Koenraad Dewulf Creativities Edition 1989 H38 L100 D100 cm Small chip on one edge As its title suggests, this coffee table pays homage to Kazimir Malevich and Suprematism, which reduced painting to geometric planes floating in space. Belgian designer Koenraad Dewulf transposes this principle into tempered glass: intersecting planes, joined by an invisible bond, create a play of transparencies, reflections, and cast shadows. The carefully calculated angles and clean lines produce a composition that appears to float, while ensuring the structure’s stability. A piece that is both a design object and an artistic reference.
