237 - Tonino Negri

Tonino Negri Kasbah Lamp ceramic H33 L22 D22 cm The title evokes the architecture of the Maghreb’s kasbahs—earthen citadels with cubic volumes and narrow openings. Tonino Negri draws on the concept of a compact, almost fortified structure, transposed into ceramic form. The choice of clay—the very material used in these structures—reinforces this connection. When lit, the lamp evokes an inhabited dwelling from which light filters out. A square-shaped piece that combines architectural reference with narrative dimension, designed to sit on a console table or coffee table.
