Provenance: R.S Johnson Fine Arts in Chicago If you look closely at this painting, you can see in the mirror a reflection of what appears to be Czóbel himself, dressed in blue. This shows that this is no simple nude, but a work that tells another story, captivating the viewer's gaze. This work was exhibited in 1969 at the Hungarian gallery Galerie René (now closed), as part of an exhibition devoted to Béla Czóbel.
