Minerva, Case No. 452876, Dimensions 46 mm, circa 1941, Origin: Switzerland Case: Steel, push-back, bidirectional rotating fluted bezel. Dial: Enamel, black, luminous Arabic numerals/indexes, luminous hands. Movement: Manual. The black enamel dial features a spiral tachymeter scale, small seconds, and a 30-minute counter, while the hour markers are coated with luminous material. Modern size, vintage charm—a marvelous watch in first-hand condition! Minerva earned a reputation early on as a manufacturer of complicated movements of exceptional quality. In 2006, Minerva was acquired by the luxury goods group Richemont. Case: very good, minor scratches, worn. Dial: very good, slightly oxidized.
