Inner case—silver, smooth. Dial: Silver champlevé. Movement: Fine full-plate movement, chain/fusee, three-arm steel balance. P. Monnet of Vevey, Switzerland, was a historic watchmaker who produced fine pocket watches and verge watches around the late 17th or early 18th century, often in the English style with elaborate engraving. Today, he is primarily known from the signatures found on rare antique collector’s watches from this period. Case: very good, showing signs of wear. Dial: very good. Movement: very good, in working order, cleaning recommended.
