Folio. 20 handwritten and initialled pages, ruled in red. Some pages show water stains and faded ink. A fine marginal perforation runs through the entire document. Bound in flexible period parchment. Don Juan Tabera is granted certain neighborhoods along with their rents, taxes, and rights. This document relates to a legal dispute between the cardinal and the Sotomayor family; consequently, the text reviews property and jurisdictional matters dating back to the Irmandiña revolts. It discusses the fortresses and estates of Rianjo and Lantaño. Signed in Medina del Campo on July 31, 1532, drawn up before the notary Juan Muñoz, with his initials.
