349 - LARGE CEREMONIAL SILVER PLATE, PROBABLY GERMANY, 19TH CENTURY - Embossed and chased, circular, with a vermeil rim; the wide, curvilinear rim features rich and detailed relief decoration characterized by a succession of openwork sections and stylized palmette motifs alternating with knot-shaped clasps; the outer edge is beaded. At the base of the rim, a hexagonal cartouche framed by a repoussé laurel wreath, containing a refined filigree decoration with a beaded pattern and an elaborate coat-of-arms motif featuring a crown and an unidentified central monogram.
