Christ is depicted full-length and facing forward on the vertical central axis. In his veiled left hand, he holds the open Gospel, while his right hand is raised in blessing. At head level, he is flanked by two angels holding the Instruments of the Passion. The red cushion on which he stands rests on the ground. The garments are richly highlighted with gold. At his feet kneel the monastic saints Sergius of Radonezh and Saint Varlaam. Minor retouching. 90.5 x 72.5 cm.
