Bronze.- Touret, Marc (Mantes-la-Jolie 1944). Cycling Figure. Bronze sculpture. 1992. Signed and dated. 27 x 20 x 23 cm (height x width x depth). After many years as a teacher, Touret devoted himself entirely to sculpture and crafts, known for his mixed media techniques, including a combination of paper and plaster. His works are characterized by fine surface texture and expressive features; he considers his sculptures 'poems in 3D'. A fantastical figure 'riding' on a spiral, hands outstretched.
