Krünitz appeared earlier.- With a history of gold (pp. 61-370), also on porcelain, expansion and contraction of air, and drafts in stoves.- Part 2 only the history of colors on natural black colors, black produced by fire or mixtures, paints, varnishes, ink, and on the dyeing of wool, silk, linen, etc. The last section of Part 2 on platinum is not included here.- The frontispiece with a view of an alchemist's workshop is bound between Parts 1 and 2.- Included: Publicly Useful Nature and Art Magazine ...
