Original photograph, silver print (24.1 x 17.1 cm), with a handwritten inscription by Michaux in ballpoint pen on the back. A vintage print annotated by the photographer on the back: it is framed to show the poet’s hand correcting the proofs with a pen. A page of proofs from the collection *Apparitions* is visible, featuring the poem “Le Convoi,” whose title has been corrected by Michaux. The photograph was taken on the same day as the portrait of Michaux featured in *Poètes d’aujourd’hui*. Pinhole marks at the corners; crease marks.
