In-12, paperback, publisher’s cardboard binding, padded cover, illustrated with a mounted reproduction, preserved in a black paper box with a Plexiglas window on each of the two lids. First edition. Limited edition of 1,100 copies: one of the 1,000 on “Marais Une Fleur” paper. Autographed dedication on the half-title page: SEPT MICROBES saluted Marcel Jean, who, with them, laughed twice a century. Your friend Max Ernst Included is an original, signed microbe by Max Ernst (3.6 x 3.6 cm) as well as a card addressed to Marcel Jean on January 12, 1955, by Dorothea Tanning and Max Ernst with this single message: “With joy! See you Saturday… Dorothea + Max.”
