GIVENCHY Paris "Organza" perfume bottle, featuring a white pressed-molded glass body and a gold-tone metal brooch Height (bottle): 14.5 cm Height (brooch): 6 cm The Organza fragrance was launched in 1996 and was created by Sophie Labbé, one of the finest perfumers of her generation and also the creator of Givenchy’s famous Very Irresistible, Yves Saint-Laurent’s Parisienne, and Salvatore Ferragamo’s Signoria. Its stylized bottle, designed by Serge Mansau, evokes the silhouette of a woman draped in a beautiful white pleated dress. The artist and sculptor, nicknamed “the man of 250 bottles,” spent over fifty years crafting perfume bottles for the greatest French luxury houses such as Hermès, Guerlain, and Dior, designing cases for their precious fragrances that were worthy of works of art, and enlisting the help of major crystal manufacturers such as Saint Louis, Daum, and Murano for their production.
