Hiroshige, Utagawa 1797-1858

Copy (Oban), Meiji dat. 1891 From the series "Gojusan tsugi meisho zue" (55 stations of the Tokaido road), Kanaya station. In the image signature Hiroshige, publisher's seal Tsutaya Kichizo, censor's seal Aratame and dated 1855. It is a recut of the Meiji-era publisher Kodama Matashichi. Good impression, backed, a little bit faded, margins slightly trimmed, glued at upper corners inscribed "Kanaya" in pencil at the bottom. (341)
