wearing a headband. Most probably a queen of the Ptolemaic dynasty. White marble. Nose restored with plaster, small restoration at the base of the neck. Repolishing? Egypt, Ptolemaic period, circa 332 - 32 B.C. H. 17.2 cm Provenance: Collection of diplomat Eugène de Castillon Saint Victor, who organized excavations with the Ecole Française d'Athènes in the second half of the 19th century, then by descent.
