CHINE - Période Yongzheng (1723-1735)

Important pair of covered porcelain vases of baluster form with rich decoration in enamels of the pink family of phoenixes framed branches of chrysanthemums, irises, lotus flowers, peonies and birds perched or in flight (crowned cranes, titmice, swallows, blackbirds, ducks mandarin....) At the necks and lids fish in cartridges framed with grids topped by a frieze of lotus flowers, the base frieze of sound stones on a background of scrolls. The lids end with large buttons of lotus flowers (a very slight hair on the neck of one of the two vases, restorations on the neck of the other). H : 82 cm
