Öl auf Leinen, „Maria Trost am Kain“ Süddeutsch wohl 18. Jhd. Öl auf Leinen, doubliert, wohl süddeutsch / österreichisch, vermutlich 18. Jahrhundert oder frühes 19. Jahrhundert. Religiöses Andachtsbild mit Darstellung der Muttergottes als Fürsprecherin und Trösterin: Maria mit Nimbus in rotem Gewand und dunklem Mantel hält ein Tuch bzw. Band über dem liegenden Christuskind. Die Darstellung ist volkstümlich-devotional aufgefasst und verweist auf Schutz, Trost und Fürbitte. Die Inschriften sind in alter Schrift ausgeführt: links wohl „Maria Trost am Kain“, rechts schwer lesbar, wohl beginnend mit „Hilf alles Sindern/Kindern ...“. Rückseitig auf dem Keilrahmen handschriftlicher Vermerk „Restauriert 2003-2004 ‚Maria Bein/Kain‘“, wobei die Lesung nicht eindeutig ist. Alters- und restaurierungsbedingter Zustand mit Craquelé, Retuschen, Bereibungen, kleineren Farbausbrüchen, Kratzspuren und Nachdunkelungen. Rahmen mit deutlichen Alters- und Gebrauchsspuren, Bestoßungen, Wurmgängen und rückseitigen Ergänzungen / Metallwinkeln. Maße: 73,5 x 71 cm inkl. Rahmen.
