Gerd Winner 1936 Braunschweig - 2026 Liebenburg - Times Square - No Stopping Any Time" - (2005) Farbserigrafie/Lwd. E. A. 150 x 120 cm. 154 x 124 cm (Maß mit Rahmen). Auf der Rückseite sign., dat. und betit.: Winner (20)05 / Time Square / NO STOPPING. Daneben mit der Nummerierung und persönlicher Widmung: E/A / für Quensen. Rahmen (Schattenfuge). Winner besuchte von 1956-62 die Hochschule für Bildende Künste Berlin und war Meisterschüler von Werner Volkert. Von 1975 bis 2002 hatte er den Lehrstuhl für Malerei und Grafik an der Staatlichen Akademie in München inne. 1998 erreichte er mit seinen Siebdruckzyklen zu Berlin, London und New York eine hohe internationale Aufmerksamkeit. Arbeiten Winners sind in internationalen Sammlungen vertreten, u.a. dem MoMA in New York.
