Brosche mit geschnittenem Malachit Um 1900. 585/- Gelbgold, gestemp. Ges.-Gew.: 27,2 g. Große Malachitplatte mit fein geschnittener Darstellung einer weiblichen Büste im antikisierenden Stil, das Haar mit Früchten und Blättern geschmückt. Durchbrochen gearbeitete Goldfassung, besetzt mit 12 kleinen Diamantrosen. H. 4,5 cm, B. 5 cm. Nadel mit Sicherheitsschieber. Malachit rückseitig mit Riss. Guter Erhaltungszustand, kleiner Chip an der Nase. Dekorative Brosche mit plastisch geschnittenem Malachit von schöner Farbzeichnung. Die idealisierte weibliche Büste mit üppigem Frucht- und Blütenschmuck steht in der Tradition allegorischer Darstellungen der Flora bzw. des Überflusses. Die filigrane Goldfassung mit Diamantrosen setzt feine Lichtakzente und unterstreicht den repräsentativen Charakter des Schmuckstücks.
