Date: 19th century Description: Christ and God seated on a staircase in heaven. With a cross and an orb in the foreground and a pyramid in the background. The depiction shows a scene from the 20th canto from the heroic poem by Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock, an epic in 20 cantos, from 1773. The paper shows single tears or holes. The image makes a very good impression. With a loss at the upper left corner of the sheet. The foxing occurs especially along the margins of the sheet. The tears at the lower right margin of the sheet are fixed by adhesive strips on the back.
