Date: c. 1750 Description: The portrait shows the painter Christoph Freund wearing a hat and coat in a medallion from which he is raising his right arm. He is holding a wine glass in his hand. He is looking towards the left edge of the picture. The frame of the medallion is inscribed. A draped curtain extends diagonally across the picture from the top right-hand corner.
