Date: 18th century Description: Mutual copy. The original of this copy is considered a rarity. Probably engraved in a gold plate, it was printed extremely rarely and still occupies researchers with the question of its function. Both its function as a sword or ornamental button and as an emperor's hat-agraffe have already been discussed (cf. Schoch 2001, p. 224f). A striking feature of this very good copy are the letters of the plaque "INRI", which are not printed upside down as in the original.
