Date: 17th century Description: Full-length depiction of an ancient Roman statue. Female figure in a wrinkled Doric chiton. Probably as part of a photograph of antique sculptures in Italy as also made by Cavalieri in the second half of the 16th century. Lightly foxed and slightly discoloured along the edges. There are print-related creases in the upper centre and lower left. The corners of the sheet are slightly bumped and partly creased. There are faint creases along the upper edge of the sheet. There is a small hole in the lower left corner of the image. The image makes a good impression.
